Welcome to Frogmy (“we”, “us”, “our”). We value your privacy. This policy explains what data is stored when using our Chrome extension and visiting our website (frogmy.com).

2. What We Store

• Local Data Only: Notes you create (titles, text, pasted images in Base64) are stored only in your browser’s chrome.storage.local.
• Optional Local Analytics: You may opt in to storing anonymized usage data locally (e.g. note created, theme switched). This data is never sent to any server.
• Clipboard Images: Images pasted into a note are stored locally as Base64 URIs, never uploaded.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To enable you to create and manage notes directly within the browser.
• To allow export and import of your notes, completely offline.

4. Data Storage & Retention

• Local Only: Everything you do is stored in your browser. Nothing is transmitted externally unless you export your notes manually.
• Your Control: You can delete all data at any time by disabling the extension or clearing its storage in your browser.

5. Third-Party Services

• Chrome APIs: We use Chrome-provided APIs such as storage, tabs, scripting, and context menus.
• No External Servers: We do not use any external analytics or databases. Everything stays in your browser.

6. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We do not use cookies in the extension. The website may use basic cookies for session preferences, if necessary.

7. Your Rights

• Create: You can create as many notes as you need.
• Export: You can export all your notes at any time.
• Edit or Delete: Notes can be edited or deleted inside the extension.
• Analytics Toggle: Analytics is on by default and fully optional. You can enable or disable it under Settings.
• Full Erasure: Clearing local storage or disabling the extension removes all data.

8. Security

Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it. We use Chrome’s secure APIs and best practices for local storage.

9. Children’s Privacy

Frogmy is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated in future versions of the extension. The updated date will be reflected above.
